About Us

IJT Solutions operates under the direction of Ashley McCollum, an experienced writer, public relations specialist and development professional.

Recent projects include grant writing, editing, e-newsletter design, newsletter design, funding research and media relations for Voices For Children - Court Appointed Special Advocates, Scotty's House Brazos Valley Child Advocacy Center and The Sexual Assault Resource Center.

In addition to contract work for clients, McCollum also serves as a freelance writer for Brazos Family, Brazos Wellness, INSITE, Brazos Life, Brazos Valley Bride, Flair and Best of the Brazos Valley magazines.

McCollum's philanthropic work includes volunteering as the Public Outreach Committee Chairperson of the Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, where she focuses on educating teens on healthy and unhealthy dating relationships through the Love is Not Abuse project. She is a member of the Texas Council on Family Violence Allies for Children and Teens in Austin, TX and MADE: Moms and Dads for Education to Stop Teen Dating Abuse. McCollum also serves on the Board of Directors of The College Station Police Officers' Wives Association.

McCollum earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northwestern State University, with a minor in Speech. She has worked in the television (intern), radio and print media industries as well as in communications/media relations for nonprofit organizations over the past 17 years.
